You aren't the money in your wallet, you aren't the clothes you are wearing, you aren't your job. All these are trivial things, they don't define you. They don't make you the person you are. They don't make you HUMAN.
You are the things you do out of freewill. You are your thoughts, your ideas, your quirks, your memories, your actions, your words.
You are what you read.
This was one of the most important lesson I learnt as a kid and this book perhaps played a very important role in doing that. I have read Ila Chandra Joshi's Jahaj Ka Panchi countless times since I was in 7th grade and will probably do that for the rest of my life. Each time I read it, with increasing maturity my perspective change, it gets a little bit deeper , I get a little bit wiser.
Like I said before, you are what you read, these books I am reading today will stay with me the rest of my life, they will break me, they will break me, and trust me, that is the most beautiful feeling one can ever experience!
So come join us! Tell us about your favorite books, about the words that mean the world to you. And listen to others doing the same at #hindimahotsav17organised by IP College and @vaniprakashan .
