J ROBERT OPPENHEIMER became death in July 16, 1945 when the world's first atomic bomb on which he had spent the most brain power lit up the New Mexico desert. He became dead on February 18, 1967 (wasting illness) when the #1song in America was Kind Of A Drag by The Buckinghams. Oppenheimer's work presaged later discoveries of neutrons, mesons, neutron stars, black holes, gravitational collapse, and other arcana of theoretical physics, government funding for which is being eliminated by the current US administration for being "too sciencey." When President Truman eliminated Hiroshima and Nagasaki - both entirely civilian and each militarily insignificant - Oppenheimer (and Eisenhower) called him a war criminal (he was). Truman didn't dare tamper with gentile war hero Dwight D Eisenhower, but Oppenheimer spent the balance of his security clearance clearing out his office, because he was fired. He spent the balance of his life playing Scrabble with Albert Einstein using only Hindustani words from the Bhagavad Gita, you know, like terrorists. Americans who now hold the highest levels of security clearance are neither physicists, nor military heroes, but billionaire real estate speculators who play golf with Russian intelligence apparatchiks, you know, like terrorists.
